I randomly thought "why not show people how I store my books," so I took pictures of my collection in it's bookcases. I know everyone has bookcases that owns books, but I just want to present mine to the public. The picture on the smaller bookcase is of me and my boyfriend Ricky, and that is a strawberry butter cream Yankee candle.
My name is Danielle I'm what you would call an average college student. I created The Book Suggestion when I was in high school on weebly. It was a place where I would rate books, I have personally read, and gave my honest opinion on them. I have now decided that I need to add some sparkle with a new blog and some new additions.

Goodie but Oldie
I am currently reading Middlemarch by: George Eliot; I am telling you this because it is multiple books combined into one and may take me some time to read. I have become a slacker on reading and I'm sorry, but this semester I am currently taking 6 classes which is academic suicide. I promise that I will get a routine going with school work and recreational reading.
I should outline Middlemarch.
It is a true classic basing its timeline in the early 1800's, from what I've read it seems like an exact depiction of that time period. I am really looking forward to reading this, because any historical literature is my favorite.

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
This is the last book in the trilogy The Hunger Games, I am soooo upset that its over because I fell deep in love with these books. This last book brought Katniss into more suspense and action then ever before, if there was any trilogy I would recommend it would be this. I'm hoping that this will be a movie in the near future, because there is no way anyone wouldn't become obsessed with the love and action.
Recommendation: 10/10

Christmas Break
Finals are this week so I will be super busy and stressed out. After all this mayhem is over I plan on finishing my book I've been reading, and starting up on a pretty long book 800+ pages in spirit of the long break. So expect more to come, because Christmas is fast approaching and presents will be here :P

Introducing Foday
I thought I would introduce my dog Foday (yes his name is F-oh-day) He is 3 years old pit bull and boston terrier mix. He is my big bundle of joy I absolutely adore him.
I consider him my child, he loves to lay next to me and fart while I'm reading lol.
The Stranger by Albert Camus
This was one of my manditory books I had to read for my Humanities class this semester (In other words not my first choice of reading). So when I purchased this book I was expecting to get something absolutely boring like most of the readings that he imposed on me. When starting this I immediately changed my mind, this book has some depth to it, not just depth but it was actually interesting. So as soon as I started reading I finished it lol no lie it took me maybe 30 minutes to read but I loved the meaning to this book. This book is definitely based on Existentualism, because the protagonist in this story doesn't put meaning into his decisions. I really don't want to give any details to this story, because it is truly bizzare how the story unravals. To keep it short the protagonist mother dies, he is emotionless, this leads to his life being more emotionless and he doesn't care.

The Story of Club Kids
Party Monster
by: James ST. James
This is an up close and personal journey through the life of a famous late 80's through the 90's club kid named James St. James. This is his recollections of his acquaintance with Michael Align, a club kid who murdered a drug dealer. The book will take you through some of the most outrageous fashions and clubs through out New York, and you'll see just what all the "in" people did with their lives: drugs, sex, murder, & more drugs.
Recommendation: 7.5/10
